It’s harvest time at the farm! We are picking up almonds and preparing for walnuts as our garden of tomatoes, grapes, eggplant, cucumbers and squash give up the last of their bounties. Out come the canning jars to pickle, make canned tomatoes and tomato “jiru”. Check out our roots to discover more about our farm and our passion for food.

Unique among design firms, Nishihara/Wilkinson Design has not only provided design solutions for over 24 years, but the principle owners Darice Nishihara and Ron Wilkinson also farm in California’s Central Valley. Because we participate in growing and selling food, our comprehensive knowledge and passion for food, in all of its forms, runs deep.
We understand firsthand the challenges faced in all levels of the business from farmers, processors, retailers and the consumer. Our holistic knowledge of the trade has given us a unique perspective and appreciation for the market and reaffirms our values of hard work and fair play. Our formal education in Graphic Communication and Fine Arts has been honed through years of experience and shaped our life’s work. After years at a commercial printing business and advertising agencies, we formed Nishihara/Wilkinson to break apart from cookie cutter approaches to design and marketing. Over the decades, we have expanded to a tight-knit team capable of handling projects from a single sales brochure to full branding and packaging for national distribution.
